Attacking batting needs you to concentrate!
Want some tips on attacking the ball?.... This page should help!

We offer our website visitors a FREE service where you can "Ask The Coach" a question about any problems which you have with your cricket skills or techniques.

Since we launched this offer, it has been taken up by loads of people, and we’ve really enjoyed answering the questions which we’ve been asked.

So, if you have a query where you’d like some FREE coaching advice & tips, please DO email us. (There’s no catch involved…. We are not going to start bombarding you with junk emails - nor are we going to ever pass on your contact details to anyone else!) This is a genuinely free offer, with no strings attached.

Example questions we’ve been asked before are:

  • I bowl a lot of no-balls & can’t seem to solve this on my own.
  • I can’t score as many runs as I’d like to on the leg side - why do you think this is?
  • My son wants to play cricket morning, noon & night, but I want to make sure that he’s not playing too much - what advice can you give us about how much cricket he ought to be playing?
  • I want to be better at throwing in from the boundary as I’m not very good at getting the ball back to the wicket keeper, and this makes him cross - how can I get better at this?
  • My son would like to learn how to be a wicket keeper, but he never really gets given the chance to do this at our club because other children who have done it for longer always seem to get picked. What can I practice with him at home to give him some basic skills, and how do you think I should persuade his coach to let him have a go?
  • I’m moving up into senior cricket, so I know I’m going to have to concentrate for longer games - have you got any tips I can try out?
  • Is it worth spending money buying expensive cricket balls to practice with?

This service is designed to help with real life cricket performance problems that you are experiencing (rather than hypothetical questions), and we can help with any questions like the examples above.
