Hot off the press....

ADDG Inter Cricket Summer Schools 2008:

£30 per person for 3 whole days of cricket activity!

During the summer of 2008, the following 3 day summer schools will be taking place:

23rd – 25th July 2008 at Cockermouth Cricket Club

30th, 31st July & 1st August 2008 at Workington Cricket Club

6th - 8th August 2008 at Wigton Cricket Club

27th - 29th August 2008 at Cockermouth Cricket Club

Each Summer School will run from 10am to 4pm each day.

For boys & girls who are already at Secondary School, and for those who are going to Secondary School in September 2008. (Those who are younger than this are regrettably not able to take part this summer.)

What to expect……

·            Inter Cricket is fast becoming an established new format of the game - designed to bridge the gap between Kwik Cricket & the traditional hardball game.

·            Whilst it’s perfect for those who have not played Hard Ball Cricket, it’s also lots of fun for those who have!

·            Everyone from beginners right through to those who have played county (or even regional) cricket have played it - and enjoyed it!

·            Boys & Girls are equally welcome to attend.

·            All equipment will be provided.

·            Participants should wear sports type clothing & trainers, and they should also bring a packed lunch, and sufficient drinks for the entire day.

·            A full wet weather plan will be made - and these summer schools will go ahead rain or shine!

·          The summer school will feature a mixture of skill development, and Inter Cricket matches.

·       Places to attend will be limited, and a “first come first served” booking system will operate.
