Hot off the press....
Allerdale "Mega-Camps" 2010:
£10 per person for 2 or 3 whole days of cricket activity! (yes that's £10 per person, not £10
a day!!)
During the summer of 2010, the following 2 & 3 day "Mega-Camps" will be taking
place:
21st - 23rd July 2010 at Netherhall School, Maryport (3 day event)
26th - 27th July 2010 at St Joseph's High School, Workington (2 day event)
29th - 30th July 2010 at Solway School,
Silloth (2 day event)
2nd - 3rd August 2010 at Cockermouth School (2 day event)
5th - 6th August 2010 at Southfield
Technology College, Workington (2 day event)
16th - 17th August 2010 at Stainburn School, Workington (2
day event)
26th - 27th August 2010 at Beacon Hill School, Aspatria (2 day event)
31st August - 1st September
2010 at Nelson Thomlinson School, Wigton (2 day event)

Each Mega-Camp will run from 10am
to 4pm each day.
These mega-camps are being heavily subsidised by the
Allerdale School Sports Partnership, so those attending need to be pupils at Allerdale Schools.

for those who are in current school year 6,7,8 or above)

What
to expect……
- If you like sport, you've love these!
- HOT TIP - You can book to attend more than one mega-camp if you'd like to do so! (In fact, you can
attend them all if you'd like to!)
- You can choose to do just one thing for the entire mega-camp (perhaps cricket!?), or you can have a go at all of the
8 sports that are on offer
- Cricket will be one of
the sports on offer at every Mega-camp!
- Everyone welcome
- Masses of fun!
- All equipment will be provided.
- Participants should wear sports type clothing & trainers, and they should also
bring a packed lunch, and sufficient drinks for the entire day.
- A full wet weather plan will be made - and these mega-camps will go ahead rain
or shine!
- The coaching provided will feature a mixture of skill development,
and matches.
- Places to attend will be limited, and a “first come first
served” booking system will operate.
- In case you want to know, Jon will be coaching
cricket at the first 5 mega-camps, and he will be leading the entire mega-camp at Stainburn at at Beacon Hill. He says he recommends that you all BOOK EARLY! (especially if you want to do cricket!)
