• All abilities of player from year 7 & 8, from the local area, are welcome to attend the above sessions. Boys & girls are equally welcome at our club.
• To participate in outdoor sessions players need to join the club. Membership costs £10 for the entire year, plus £1 per outdoor session attended. (Brand new members do not need to pay their annual membership fee at their 1st outdoor coaching session, because at that point they might not be sure they want to join - but they will need to register before participating)
• Sessions will include games AND skills coaching - to help players to develop their skills.
• Hard-ball cricket and soft-ball cricket activities (i.e. Inter Cricket) will both be included, with Jon allocating players into groups so that everyone's individual abilities are catered for.... EVERYONE IS WELCOME.
• All participants can expect to receive high quality coaching at these sessions, and we pride ourselves on everyone also enjoying themselves & feeling part of our group.
• The Club will run two Under 13 teams in the 2011 season, and everyone who wants to play in matches will be given the opportunity to do so. (Matches are played on Sunday mornings) .......and on that same subject..........Players and Parents are respectfully advised that Jon runs a team selection system where he does not just pick the best 11 players to play every week -  instead we prefer to adopt a system where all of our players rotate. We do this because we think it's the fairest way of enabling everyone to enjoy playing in matches if they would like to do so.
• FOR INFO - Cockermouth CC also run organised cricket coaching and matches for children in other age groups, from age 8 upwards! If you need more information about any other age group please feel free to contact us, and we can put you in touch with the relevant coaches. 

2012 Indoor Coaching for boys & girls in School years 7 and 8
Indoor Coaching sessions take place at Stainburn school, Workington on five Saturday afternoons in early 2012.  

• Sessions for the under 13 age group (i.e. year 7 & 8 students) will be led by Jon.
• The 5 session dates are: Saturdays February 4th & 18th, March 3rd, 17th & 31st 2012.
• The U13 age group will have sessions from 2pm to 4pm each week
• Sessions cost just £2 per player, pay on the day.
• Anyone who wants to play for Cockermouth CC in the 2012 season is welcome to attend.
